DAY 1 : Fez – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – MERZOUGA

Mysterious Morocco Tours organizes tour from Fez with experienced drivers and guides to explore Sahara desert. 3 day desert tour from Fez to Merzouga starts today and we pick up from your hotel and departure for Ifrane, known as the Switezland of Morocco. Then we will head toward Azrou to see the monkies in the cedar forest. We continue to Midelt, we will cross the pass of TIZI N TALGHAMT to reach Ziz valley. We continues to Erg Chebbi desert passing by Erfoud where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop ,then Er-Rissani to visit local couk. After that you we continue to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, called also Merzouga dunes. We will ride camels to desert camp where we stay overnight in desert tents.

DAY 2 : MERZOUGA DESERT

Today in the morning we continue our 3 day desert tour from Fez to Merzouga and we explore the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will visit a Berber family , and listen to Gnawa music in village of Khamlia. Then we will visit some deserted mines, Berber nomads and oasis of palm trees. For lunch we will head back to Merzouga and then we ride camels to the desert. We will spend the night in desert camp with drums music in the middle of the Sahara. We climb the high dune to watch the sunset over the dunes and we spend the night in desert nomad tents in the middle of the sand dunes.

DAY 3 : MERZOUGA DESERT – Fez

After breakfast we will ride our camels back to hotel, where we will freshen up before making our way to Fez. We will stop to enjoy the fabulous landscapes of Ziz valley on the way. We will enjoy the stunning scenery of the Atlas mountains, passing by Tizi-n-Talghoumt 1907 metres high. We will stop for lunch in the small town of Midelt, before stopping in the cedar forests of the middle Atlas mountains where we may see the Magot monkeys. We will also be passing through Ifrane, the first ski resort in Morocco, before continuing our journey to the Imperial City of Fez.
